Water Quality Improvements, Pedestrian and Bicycle Access, Wetlands Restoration and Other Channel and Shoreline Improvements

Overview

This project included water quality Improvements as well as pedestrian and bicycle access, wetlands restoration and other channel and shoreline improvements. The projects from the original bond are mostly finished, though there is some work still being done around the marsh as of 2022, and there are some ongoing discussions with Alameda County around the Flood Control at E 8th Av/7th St. With remaining funds, the Community Coalition also submitted a set of projects that were submitted to the Capital Improvement Program in 2020, but have yet to find a project manager.

$25,000,000 was set aside for these projects.

Pedestrian and Bicycle Access, Wetlands Restoration and Other Channel and Shoreline Improvements

$2,000,000 was set aside for these projects.
