This information is being shared to keep our community members aware and safe from any possible danger in their neighborhoods. At this time, there is no information about these events coming to Oakland. However, if you see something that appears suspicious or observe criminal activity, please call 911.

City Administrator Ed Reiskin today announced the selection of Reginald D. Freeman to serve as the next Fire Chief for the City of Oakland, effective May 17.

On April 10^th, 2021, around 6:37 PM, Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting in the area of 68^th Avenue and International Boulevard. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male adult (Oakland resident) suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).
