On April 10th, 2021, around 6:37 PM, Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting in the area of 68th Avenue and International Boulevard. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male adult (Oakland resident) suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).
Oakland Fire Department personnel and Falck ambulance crew additionally responded to the scene and provide medical treatment. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to take over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
