The Oakland Campaign Reform Act (OCRA) limitations on contributions made to political campaigns and expenditure ceilings for campaigns are adjusted annually to reflect changes in the cost of living.
Candidates who adopt the voluntary expenditure ceiling by filing OCRA Form 301 may accept contributions to their campaign committee from individuals, businesses, and other organizations of up to $900 and contributions from qualified broad-based political committees of up to $1,800 per election cycle.
Those candidates who do not adopt the expenditure ceilings may accept contributions from individuals up to $200 and contributions from broad-based political committees up to $400.
