The Screening Panel for the Redistricting Commission has released a supplemental questionnaire to better assess applicants to the Redistricting Commission. The deadline to submit a completed supplemental questionnaire is by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. The supplemental questionnaire can be found here.
If you have not yet submitted an application to serve on the 2020-21 Redistricting Commission, there is still time to do so. We ask that you submit an application before submitting the supplemental questionnaire. You can apply to serve on the Redistricting Commission if you:
- Have been an Oakland resident for at least the past three years,
- Are not registered to vote in a polling place outside of Oakland city limits,
- Are not a current City of Oakland or Oakland Unified School District employee, or sit on a current Board or Commission of either entity, and
- Do not have a conflict of interest.
