CULTURAL ARTS EXPLOSION!
Located in Oakland Chinatown, Lincoln Square features Tai Chi, Tai Chi Swords, Tai Chi Fan, Chi Gong, Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Orchestra, Cantonese Opera, and a Mandarin Choir.
GIRLS SPORTS PROGRAM
Lincoln Square offers a variety of programs just for girls throughout the year, and is the training facility for the City of Oakland’s City-Wide Volleyball Program. Our 15-under team won the 15-under Gold Division of the United States Youth Games (USYG) Championships in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
WATER SPORTS
We offer swim lessons to all Summer Camp participants through the Oakland Parks, Recreation and Youth Development Aquatics Division, at DeFremery Pool.
FACILITY RENTALS
Lincoln Square is not accepting private rental requests through June 30, 2020. Reservation requests can be submitted 30 days, to 11 months in advance of the requested reservation date. If a request is approved for an event within two weeks to 30 days, there is an additional Administrative Service Fee. NO reservation requests are accepted less than two weeks in advance. You can request the application materials by emailing the Recreation Center Director.
