About

The Fox Oakland Theater, Inc. (“FOT”), is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation formed and operated to support the City of Oakland, a municipal corporation in the state of California, and the Oakland Redevelopment Successor Agency ("ORSA"), the successor agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Oakland under Health and Safety Code Section 34173. FOT’s principal activities include restoring and operating the Fox Theater located at 1807 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, California as a historic resource, an educational facility, and a performing arts venue.
