Nina Wyszatycka - Moore

Hi I'm Nina - CERT Basic Instructor & Teen CERT Liaison.

I joined the City of Oakland Fire Department Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) in 2018. As a resident of Oakland it is very important to empower our community members with every opportunity in order to allow us to be as prepared as possible when the time comes.

I love hands on activities and so teaching Unit 3 - Disaster Medical Operations is very exciting. It gives me the opportunity to brush up on my medical skills such as how to stop a bleed. I also am fluent in Polish and always looking for an opportunity to brush up on my language skills! I am excited about helping out my community and our future leaders.
