If you have found a sick or injured domestic animal (such as a dog, cat or rabbit), you may bring the animal to the shelter during business hours.
If you have found an animal after hours, please transport it to VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Hospital.
If you are unable to bring the animal to the shelter or to VCA, please call the Oakland Police Department Dispatch at 510-777-3333.
PLEASE NOTE: We can only accept animals found within the City of Oakland.
