Need to Update Your Registration or Deregister Your Property?
For more information about the purpose and scope of the program, please review the Summary of Ordinance and Program Requirements.
Before registering or making a payment, please read and understand the following:
The owner or responsible agent must complete a self-directed property inspection before the end of each month as per Oakland Municipal Code, Chapter 8.54.310 to ensure that the property remains in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. These findings will be reported through the registration process. Read the Inspection Standards here.
The registrant must provide basic details about the property, including the address, parcel number, property management company, bank/lender information, owner contact information, Alameda County Recorder's Office Notice of Default or Real Estate Owned, servicer information, and results of initial inspection. Many of these fields are required, so to expedite this process, a review of the Registration Checklist in advance is highly recommended.
Once information is gathered, select the “Register Your Foreclosed Property” button below to begin the process. Immediately note the number assigned at the top of the first registration page, which is required for subsequent access to the registration.
Register Your Foreclosed PropertyOnce all information has been entered, the registration fee of $914.00 may be paid by credit card using our online payment system. You may also call the Cashier to pay by phone at (510) 238-4774. Your registration will not be complete until the payment is received.
