The ASSETS Program helps low-income adults age 55 and older find work. Older adults often experience barriers to getting and keeping a job. These barriers may include discrimination, disability, homelessness and trouble communicating in English.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

Are 55-years of age or older
Live in Oakland
Are unemployed
Have a limited Income
Have not been a participant in any employment program in the past 2 years

You can submit your application in person or by mail. The ASSETS address and hours are listed below.
