The City sponsors free bicycle safety, skills, and Earn-a-Bike classes in Oakland.
Upcoming classes:
- Bike East Bay adult bicycle safety and skills classes and two youth bicycle giveaways (dates and locations to be announced)
- Cycles of Change UpCycle adult Earn-a-Bike classes and community bicycle ride series (dates and locations to be announced)
Past classes:
- Bike East Bay adult bicycle safety and skills classes, funded by grants to the City from the Transportation Development Act, Article 3, bicycle and pedestrian funding program
- Cycles of Change UpCycle adult Earn-a-Bike classes at the Camino 23 Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) apartment complex in the San Antonio neighborhood, funded by a grant from the State of California's Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program
