The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is seeing an uptick in robberies of individuals at ATMs over the past month.
In several of the robberies, the victim completed their transaction at the ATM and was walking away when they were confronted. The armed individuals then rob the victims of their personal property and leave the area on foot or by vehicle.
