Update: No Longer Wanted

Thanks to our community and media partners, Lamarion Griffin is no longer wanted.

Griffin turned himself in Sunday to Oakland police officers.

Background:

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is releasing this picture in hopes the community can help locate 19-year-old Lamarion Griffin of Oakland. Griffin is wanted in connection with the shooting of a four-year-old child that occurred on May 31, 2023, just before 9:00 p.m. in the 3400 block of 68th Avenue.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) and CrimeStoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
