The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person, Welde Woretu, who is at risk due to age.
He was last seen on March 28, 2022, around 7:00 PM, in the 6000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, wearing a dark-colored jacket and tan pants.
Woretu is described as a 79-year-old, black male. He stands 5’6”, weighs 120 pounds, and has a bald head and black eyes.
