On February 25, 2021, at approximately 300 AM., Oakland Police Officers were flagged down in the 600 block of 23rd Street to investigate an unresponsive adult female on the sidewalk with head trauma. Oakland Fire Department and medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to Highland Hospital.
On March 6, 2021, at approximately 5:29 PM, the victim succumbed to their injuries.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to take over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
