Oakland, CA — The City of Oakland Human Services Department’s Summer Food Service Program continues to provide free breakfast and lunch during the school break.

The Summer Food Service Program continues Monday, July 6, 2020. More than 20 sponsored youth-serving sites throughout Oakland – including community and faith-based organizations – will offer free breakfast and lunch for Grab and Go pick up and Drive-thru food distribution. All food distributions are with no contact and social distancing.

Parents and guardians may pick up meals for multiple days without children present. There are no program requirements or paperwork to complete to benefit from the program. All kids 18 and under, and adults with disabilities enrolled in a school program can receive meals. Sites can also be found by using the CA Meals for Kids app for smartphones to locate a free food distribution site.
