On Aug 27, 2020, at about 08:36 pm, Oakland Police officers responded to the 1100 blk of 76th Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, an Oakland resident, was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. The victim later succumbed to injuries.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent shooting. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
