They include: A Major Variance for alcoholic beverage sales in the existing concession stands and cafés/restaurants at the Oakland Zoo; The Juneteenth Fathers Day Celebration sponsored by the Evangelistic Outreach Church on June 16, 2019; A SoOakland Collective OakNik event at Joaquin Miller Park September 14, 2019; The Oakland LGBTQ Community Center sponsored People’s 5th Annual Oakland Pride Free Run and Wellness Expo at the Lakeside Park Pergola September 7, 2019; Topsy Turvy Queer Circus at Lakeside Park Bandstand on August 17, 2019; BBQ’n While Black 2nd Annual event at Lakeside Park’s Cleveland Cascade on July 21, 2019; A gift of in-kind services from the United States Soccer Federation Foundation, Inc. for the Concordia and Patterson Park Mini-Pitch Soccer renovation A resolution naming four (4) parks at the Brooklyn Basin Development Township Commons, Brooklyn Plaza, Mayhew Park, and Sii Tka Park; a bench dedication in memory of Michael Gurmu; and a bench dedication in memory of Fakhri And Mohsen Pakzad.
