Who's that driving through my neighborhood? It's the Head Start Drive-By Parade.
Friday, May 29th from 1 - 4 PM, look out your window and listen for a parade of Head Start cars driving through your neighborhood. As we drive by, make some noise! Cheer us along by clapping, stomping, and shouting as the parade drives by. We are so proud of Head Start families for finishing the school year, and we miss you so much.
Below are links to the parade routes, one loop in West/Central Oakland and another loop in East Oakland.
If you need to step outside to watch, please wear a mask and maintain six feet of social distance. Please note: Children 0 - 2 years old should not wear masks.
