What do the different curb colors mean?

Red Curb: No stopping, standing or parking at any time

Yellow Curb: For loading and unloading of passengers and materials between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. You can take no more than three minutes to load or unload passengers. If your vehicle has commercial license plates, you have no more than 30 minutes to load or unload materials. Yellow Curb restrictions do not apply on Sundays and parking holidays.

White Curb: For loading and unloading of passengers. You can take no more than three minutes to load or unload passengers. Most white curb restrictions apply from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. except in the following situations:

  • In front of a hotel or hospital white curb parking restrictions are in effect at all times.
  • In front of a theater, hall, or place of public assembly white curb parking restrictions are in effect at all times unless the theater or hall is closed. In that case, you may park in the white curb zone for one hour or less

Green Curb: No standing or parking for longer than 12 minutes at any time between 8 a.m and 6 p.m. Green curb restrictions do not apply on Sundays or parking holidays.

Blue Curb: Parking for persons with disabilities whose vehicles display either a valid disability placard or license plate.

Please note that faded curb colors are still enforced. You can report a curb that needs repainting by reporting it to the Public Works Call Center over the phone, online or using the SeeClickFix mobile app.
