The Oakland Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on May 25th, 2021, just after 7:30 PM, in the area of 87th Avenue and E Street. Officers were driving in the area when they heard multiple gunshots. Once on scene, officers located a male juvenile victim, a Stockton resident, seated in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

The Oakland Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on May 20th, 2021, just after 7 AM, in the 1300 block of 83rd Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located a male adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).

On May 16th, 2021, just before 6:00 PM, Oakland Police Officers responded to the 2100 block of E. 26th Street for a male down on the ground. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male 17-year-old juvenile suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers attempted lifesaving measures.

The violence started early Friday morning just before 12:45 AM. Officers responded to the 2300 block of 55th Avenue to investigate the report of a male on the ground. Once on scene officers located an unresponsive male suffering from gunshot wound(s). Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Rifle 4 20 21

On April 20, 2021, at approximately 8:36 pm, Oakland Police Department (OPD) officers responded to the area of 54th Avenue and East 8th Street to investigate the reports of a man armed with a rifle. Once on scene, officers contacted victims, who advised that the suspect was pointing the firearm in their direction and threatening to kill them. The victims stated they heard gunfire as they left the area.
