The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media in locating a runaway person at risk due to age. Danila Wilburn is 13 years old and was last seen this morning, October 22, 2021, at 5 AM, in the 1400 block of Harrison Street, in her mother’s 2008 Silver Dodge Caravan, CA License Plate number 6DZN837

The Oakland Police Department is investigating a robbery and shooting that resulted in a homicide. A ShotSpotter Activation alerted officers to the incident which occurred just after 1:00 PM, in the 1700 block of Castro Street.

The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person at risk, Joe Ricks.

Ricks was last seen at 11:30 AM, on October 6, 2021, in the 5400 block of Vicente Way, possibly headed to San Francisco. He was wearing a brown jacket, black jeans, black boots, and possibly carrying a black backpack.

The Oakland Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on September 29, 2021, just before 7:30 PM, in the 8300 block of International Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located a male adult, Oakland resident, suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). Officers attempted lifesaving measures until medical assistance arrived on the scene.
