On January 11th, 2021, Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to the 10300 block of International Boulevard. to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male adult (a Hayward resident) suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). Oakland Fire Department personnel and Falck ambulance crew responded to the scene and provided medical treatment. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the homicide. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
