Our Oakland Juneteenth Celebration & Street Festival, Freedom Day, closes out the [now] federal holiday and gives us the opportunity to educate our communities in order to have restorative communications.

THIS YEAR’S THEME IS: “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now, “We MUST Leave a Legacy for Our People!” Read more about the event - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/o...

The festival will be from 32nd and Market Street to San Pablo Avenue @ Brockhurst Street. This celebration will be a day filled with fun with live performances, a cultural exhibition, fun games, a car show, a gospel explosion, a fashion show, and more.

Deeply Rooted Collaborative will set up a booth at the event to connect people to the Environmental Justice and Safety elements (chapters) from the Oakland General Plan 2045.
